Summer Learning Loss Research

It is often said that writing is one of the most important skills anyone can master. Make sure your middle-schooler doesn’t suffer brain-drain by enrolling him in this creative class taught by an experienced middle school literacy teacher. Students will review grammar basics using a multi-sensory approach that involves all aspects of learning: visual, auditory and kinesthetic. In other words, this ain’t your grandma’s grammar lesson!

Then, we’ll discuss the fundamentals of strong writing—skills that can be applied across all genres and content areas as well as experiment with different styles of writing. Best of all, the instructor, an experienced middle school teacher, will provide frequent personal feedback for each young writer in order to address individual strengths and weaknesses. So, whether your student can’t get started writing, (or can’t put his pen down), this class is ideal for students who love—or loathe—writing.
